Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision metal fabrication, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Donalsonville, GA

Pay Range:  $20  - $24

Shift:  Days

What's the Job?

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on CNC laser cutting machines, press brakes, and related systems
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to ensure maximum equipment uptime
  • Calibrate and align machine tooling, safety systems, and backgauges for optimal performance
  • Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO) during repairs and maintenance
  • Collaborate with operators and external vendors to resolve equipment issues efficiently

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school certification preferred
  • At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in metal fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience with CNC laser cutters and press brakes
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and control system diagrams
