Facilities Maintenance Technician

Our client, in Waterbury VT is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to join their team. The facilities maintenance Technician position is prepping hospitality areas for guest opening and ensuring proper landscaping and snow removal is being performed.  Assist hospitality with any repairs needed. Assist maintenance and wastewater teams as needed.

Facility Maintenance Tech
Schedule: Tuesday- Saturday, 6:30am - 3:00pm
Rate of Pay: $31.20 / Hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Ensure proper lawn care and snow removal is being performed at the site
•    Ensure tours area is prepped and ready for public open
•    Assist with parking management as needed
•    General painting around the buildings.
•    Ensure compliance with GMPs and safety policies while planning and completing projects
•    Assist wastewater team as needed
•    Assist maintenance team as needed
•    Ensure that our required safety practices are being followed at all times by contractors performing work
•    Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
•    Must have high school diploma or equivalent
•    Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills a plus
•    Computer Knowledge and Aptitude 
•    Painting experience, using power tools, bench tools, and other various outdoor machinery
•    Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
•    Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs or more required
•    A valid driver’s license is required
