Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading organization in facilities management, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Management department supporting the Site Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician

Location: Fishers

Pay Range: $45000 - $60000

Shift: Must be Open to All Shifts including some Weekends

What's the Job?

• Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of building mechanical systems and infrastructure.
• Conduct HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Perform electrical maintenance including lighting repairs, ballast replacement, and breaker resets.
• Complete plumbing repairs, drain maintenance, and restroom preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support maintenance activities related to elevators, UPS systems, and fire/life safety systems.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in Operations & Maintenance, Construction, Facilities Maintenance, or Building Engineering roles.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, roofing, refrigeration, heating, and cooling systems.
• Experience troubleshooting commercial HVAC and mechanical systems.
• High school diploma required; vocational, trade school, or technical college training preferred.
• Strong understanding of CMMS systems, work order management, and preventive maintenance procedures.
