Maintenance Technician Facilities

Our client, an agricultural manufacturing and operations organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician Facilities to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician Facilities, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations and the plant shop. The ideal candidate will have strong safety awareness, the ability to listen and follow directions, and clear communication skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Facilities

Location: Rushville, IN

Pay Range: $21.00 - $22.00

Shift: 6:30am-2:30pm Mon-Fri (with potential rotation and 24/7 coverage needs)

What's the Job?

• Ensure all work meets safety standards through consistent, safety-first practices
• Support plant operations through corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance activities
• Maintain the condition of the plant shop, maintenance tools, and support equipment
• Assist with grounds and facility maintenance as needed
• Assist in maintaining detailed equipment records and coordinate maintenance activities with Operations to avoid interrupting production

What's Needed?

• Mechanical ability with the willingness to learn, understand, and apply mechanical concepts
• Reliable attendance and reliable transportation to the site
• Ability to listen, follow directions, and communicate clearly verbally and in writing
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 pounds; work indoors and outdoors; walk on uneven surfaces
• Ability to work safely with ladders and lifts (8ft ladders; tie-off required for anything above 4ft; lifts no higher than 40ft with tie-off at all times)
