Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a USA - Maintenance Technician I to join their team. As a USA - Maintenance Technician I, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: USA - Maintenance Technician I
Location: Hayward, CA
Pay Range: $20.04
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with 2 Saturdays per month; after training, options for 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM shifts are available.
What's the Job?
- Support plant production through troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of manufacturing and facilities equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures and root cause analysis to ensure equipment reliability.
- Repair and maintain medical device manufacturing equipment, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and electrical controls.
- Document all work accurately in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of prior maintenance experience on automated manufacturing machines and equipment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and understanding of cGMP regulations.
- Experience with CMMS, PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron), and motor controls.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and part diagrams; familiarity with photo eyes, sensors, and vision systems is preferred.
