Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Duration: Temp until September 

Location: Lenexa, KS

Pay Range: $30.00

Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 3:30pm 

What's the Job?

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the plant to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Troubleshoot and repair engines, conveyors, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment
• Operate cranes, power tools, hoists, and hand tools safely and effectively
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using the CMMS system
• Assist in developing corrective actions and participate in safety inspections

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience
• Strong mechanical knowledge, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission components
• Experience operating standard power tools, grinders, hoists, and precision measuring instruments
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and CNC equipment (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a clean and organized work area
