Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in injection molding, is seeking a dedicated Mold Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Mold Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mold Maintenance Technician

Location: Mission, TX

Pay Range: $17 and up

Shift: Mulitple shifts

What's the Job?

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on molds and tooling equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mold and tooling issues on the production floor to minimize downtime.
  • Set up, change over, and modify molds according to production requirements to meet quality standards.
  • Disassemble and assemble mold components, including hot runner systems, ensuring safety and precision.
  • Operate tool room equipment such as milling machines, CNC mills, EDM machines, grinders, welders, and polishing equipment.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of mold maintenance, mold repair, tooling, or related manufacturing experience.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Ability to adhere to safety procedures and complete equipment inspections.
