Rebar Fabricator I

Our client, a leading organization in the construction and manufacturing industry, is seeking a Rebar Fabricator I to join their team. As a Rebar Fabricator I, you will be part of the production department supporting the rebar fabrication process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong work ethic, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Rebar Fabricator I

Location: Gulfport, MS

Pay Range: $18

Shift: 6-3

What's the Job?

• Examine specifications of customer orders using drawings or blueprints to determine finished item characteristics, materials, and machine setup requirements.
• Pull, cut, bend, and weld rebar assemblies to specified sizes supporting production schedules.
• Create pull-pins for the cover casting department and stage rebar materials for efficient workflow.
• Assist rebar benders in positioning metal bars for bending operations and reposition work-pieces for subsequent bends.
• Package finished products for shipping, ensuring protection and proper handling during transportation.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; training provided on the job.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to handle materials and perform fabrication duties.
