Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and regulated environment sector, is seeking a Laboratory Senior Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting critical utility and process systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Laboratory Senior Maintenance Technician
Location: Hercules, CA
Pay Range: $45hr- $55hr
Shift: 1st shift
What's the Job?
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing, laboratory, and utility equipment.
- Maintain and support refrigeration systems, including cold rooms, freezers, laboratory refrigerators, and ultra-low temperature storage units.
- Troubleshoot and maintain lyophilizers, vacuum systems, compressed air systems, cooling towers, chilled water systems, pumps, and RODI water systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, instrumentation, and control system failures using technical documentation and analytical methods.
- Support installation, commissioning, qualification, and startup of new equipment and system upgrades.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum six years of progressively responsible maintenance experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
- Demonstrated expertise in industrial refrigeration systems, diagnostics, and repair.
- Experience maintaining lyophilization equipment, vacuum systems, and related process utilities.
