Site Laborer

Our client  is seeking a Site Laborer to join their team. As a Site Laborer, you will be part of the team The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow procedures and regulations, and the drive to deliver accurate, reliable work on every shift—aligning successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Site Laborer

Location: Coachella, CA

Pay Range: $23.00

Shift: 6am-4pm

What's the Job?

• Maintain and repair water distribution systems, including water mains, service lines, valves, hydrants, meter boxes, and related equipment.
• Install, inspect, and repair residential and commercial water meters.
• Read water meters and accurately record consumption data for billing purposes.
• Turn water service on or off according to customer requests or City policies.
• Respond to water line breaks, leaks, and emergency repairs.

What's Needed?

• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and light to heavy equipment used in water system maintenance and construction.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to water utility operations.
• Attention to detail when reading meters and recording consumption data accurately.
• Comfort working on-site and performing physical labor as required for water system maintenance and repairs.
• Reliability and readiness to support emergency response needs when water issues arise.
