Janitor

Our client, Facilities Services is seeking a Janitor to join their team. As a Janitor, you will be part of the Operations team supporting day-to-day facility cleanliness and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to keeping spaces clean, safe, and ready for use.

Job Title: Janitor

Location: Huntsville, AL

Pay Range: $16.00 per hour

Shift: Days (07:00 AM -3:30PM)

What's the Job?

• Perform daily cleaning of the building, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and restroom cleaning
• Dispose of garbage, stock supplies, and unpack/receive deliveries and supplies as needed
• Support general building maintenance tasks including building start-up, minor electrical, and minor plumbing
• Replace lights and complete general building clean up (interior and exterior) to maintain efficient operations
• Assist with internal office moves and relocations, including tear down and building of office cubicles

What's Needed?

• General experience with industrial equipment and the ability to perform preventative maintenance repairs
• Knowledge of basic manual work techniques
• Strong attendance and a positive attitude
• Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds
• High school diploma or GED required; 0-2 years related experience
