Our client, a benefits-focused organization, is seeking a LOA Specialist- HR Role to join their team. As a LOA Specialist- HR Role, you will be part of the Benefits department supporting the Leave of Absence (LOA) team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, clear and empathetic communication, and a solid understanding of leave administration processes, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: LOA Specialist- HR Role

Location: Hybrid Role / Davidson, NC

Pay Range: $33.22

Shift: Core business hours required between approximately 10am - 3pm (start/end times flexible). Typical schedule: 9-5, flexible. Days per week: 5.

What's the Job?

  • Process and administer FMLA leave requests in accordance with company policies and federal regulations.
  • Determine employee eligibility for FMLA and issue required leave notices and documentation.
  • Communicate directly with associates regarding leave rights, responsibilities, required paperwork, and leave status updates.
  • Review and track medical certifications and other supporting documentation while maintaining accurate leave records.
  • Answer associate questions regarding FMLA processes, timelines, and return-to-work requirements, including coordinating return-to-work communications.

What's Needed?

  • Must have experience with FMLA/leave of absence administration.
  • Ability to maintain accurate, compliant leave documentation and records with timely processing.
  • Professional, empathetic customer service skills while ensuring compliance with applicable leave laws and company guidelines.
  • Experience with ADA is a plus (not required).
  • Benefits experience is a plus (not required).
