Plant Manager in training

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Plant Manager in training to join their team. As a Plant Manager in training, you will be part of the operations team supporting production and management efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Plant Manager in training

Location: Somerset, PA

Pay Range:  Competitive salary based on experience

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with Saturday hours as needed

What's the Job?

• Work alongside the current manager to learn daily operations and management skills
• Assist in training employees to ensure safety and efficiency standards are met
• Handle customer orders and coordinate with the team to fulfill production requirements
• Perform light maintenance on machinery and tooling to maintain optimal performance
• Support overall plant operations to ensure smooth workflow and productivity

What's Needed?

• Ability to work in a hands-on environment with a willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable wearing steel or composite toe boots
• Dress code: jeans/shorts and T-shirt, comfortable but appropriate attire
• No drug or background checks required
