Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control team supporting day-to-day laboratory needs for a 24/7 manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-minded mindset, and the ability to follow written procedures—helping ensure timely QC testing and accurate records.
Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Pay Range: $20-22/hour
Shift: 11am-9pm or 12-10pm Mon-Fri
What's the Job?
- Support routine QC testing and assist with sample preparation to help keep testing on schedule.
- Collect and organize production and raw material samples for accurate, traceable testing.
- Enter test results accurately into QC systems and logs to maintain reliable documentation.
- Assist with testing of mortars, thinsets, grouts, sands, and other products according to established procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked laboratory workstations while following Quality Work Instructions (QWIs) and safety requirements.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous laboratory, manufacturing, or quality experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written procedures and QWIs.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills to accurately record results.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team in a manufacturing/laboratory environment, including physical sample preparation.
