Pay Rate: $18 per hour
Schedule: Evening shifts with weekend availability required; full-time, part-time, and weekend-only opportunities available

Our client in Waterville is hiring Campus Cooks and Prep Cooks for immediate openings supporting a busy campus dining environment. These positions pay $18 per hour and are anticipated to last through the school year.

This is a great opportunity for experienced kitchen professionals seeking steady work in a team-oriented setting. Whether your strengths are food preparation, salad and sandwich assembly, or cooking menu items from recipes, you'll play an important role in delivering quality meals while building valuable culinary experience.

Typical daily duties:

• Prepare and cook menu items using flat top grills, fryolators, and other kitchen equipment in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor and manage incoming in-store and app-based orders to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely food preparation.
• Perform food preparation tasks including knife work, ingredient prep, salad preparation, and sandwich assembly.
• Maintain food quality, proper food temperatures, and presentation standards while adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management, batch cooking, and stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure product availability throughout service.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience as a cook, prep cook, line cook, deli worker, cafeteria cook, or similar kitchen role
• Ability to safely use knives and perform food preparation tasks including salads, sandwiches, and ingredient prep
• Experience following recipes and preparing menu items in a fast-paced food service environment
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work evenings and weekends
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
