Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a 1st Shift Assembly to join their team. As a 1st Shift Assembly, you will be part of the Production department supporting the Assembly team(s). The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret technical instructions, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: 1st Shift Assembly
Location: Sterling, IL
Pay Range: $15.5
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm)
What's the Job?
- Perform assembly tasks according to established procedures and specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble components accurately
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues while maintaining a clean and organized work area
What's Needed?
- Previous experience in assembly or a related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Basic knowledge of quality control principles, with excellent teamwork and communication skills
