Our client is seeking an Assembler III to join their team. As an ASM III, you will be part of the production team supporting the assembly of commercial indoor air handling units. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to follow assembly instructions accurately.
Job Title: Assembler III
Location: Marinette, WI
Pay Range: $21.67
Shift: 1:30 pm - 9:30 p.m. (M-F)
What's the Job?
- Install parts according to the Assembly Manual, special instructions, and required documentation.
- Use air gun, radial drill, cutoff saw, and other powered tools to fabricate parts for installation.
- Complete layouts for header panels and cut appropriately sized holes.
- Operate an overhead crane to move subassemblies into place and remove materials from crates and boxes.
- Verify quality of work performed, document results, and take corrective action if a deviation is found.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED, or 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and shop-floor paperwork.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
