Assembler

Our client, a local leader in manufacturing, is seeking an Assembler to join their team in Traverse City, MI. As an Assembler, you will be part of the production team supporting the assembly of custom metal products built to customer specifications. 

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Traverse City, MI

Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience, +$2/hr shift premium for 2nd shift.

Shift: 2nd , 2:30pm - 11:30pm . Candidates will be required to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd.

What's the Job?

• Read and interpret job cards for information specifications to support accurate assembly.
• Operate and/or utilize equipment to produce products that meet required dimensions and part accuracy.
• Assemble, troubleshoot, and test products to ensure they meet customer and quality standards.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks during assembly to identify and address defects or discrepancies.
• Multitask and support other duties assigned by the Team Lead or Supervisor to help the department succeed.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to read a ruler and tape measure.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail with manual dexterity.
• Previous manufacturing experience and ability to read blueprints is preferred, but not required.
