Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated CNC Machinist to join their dynamic team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Seattle, WA
Pay Range: $38 - $42
Shift: Day shift
What's the Job?
- Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment including laser cutters, waterjet cutters, plasma cutters, press brakes, PEM, and shears
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling and organization
- Set up machines according to CNC programs and work instructions, monitoring operation for quality
- Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and defects using measuring tools
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to maintain optimal performance
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience or technical training
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
- Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
