Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial operations, is seeking a Conversion Operator to join their team. As a Conversion Operator, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring efficient and safe operation of equipment involved in packaging and processing finished products.
Job Title: Conversion Operator I
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Pay Range: $21
Shift: Sunday through Thursday (FRI/SAT OFF) 11pm - 7:30am,
What's the Job?
- Operate equipment to package roll material from the winder according to work order instructions
- Load and unload rolls safely, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols
- Prepare samples of finished products and manage printing and labeling for customer shipments
- Perform machine set-ups and checks to ensure optimal operation and safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to perform some lifting (<50 lbs.)
- Legible handwriting skills for accurate documentation
- Effective understanding of routine oral and written instructions
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with team members
