Experienced Machinist

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision machining, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Experienced Machinist to join their dynamic team. As an Experienced Machinist, you will be an integral part of the Machine Shop supporting production and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Lenexa, KS

Pay Range:

Shift: 6am - 3:30pm

What's the Job?

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, and horizontal/vertical machining centers with precision and efficiency.
• Set up machines, perform adjustments, and ensure optimal operation during production runs.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to produce parts within tight tolerances.
• Perform quality checks and measurements, capable of measuring as precise as .001 inches.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

What's Needed?

• Experience with CNC milling, lathe, and horizontal/vertical machining centers.
• Ability to set up and operate machines with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of blueprints and technical specifications.
• Manual machining skills are a plus.
• Credential requirements include certifications 100043, 100065, 100042, 100100.
