Extruder Operator

Our client, manufacturing is seeking a Extruder Operator to join their team. As a Extruder Operator, you will be part of the Production team supporting daily operations in Neenah, WI. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, comfort working with production equipment, and the ability to follow established instructions and control plans—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Extruder Operator

Location: Neenah, WI

Pay Range: $19.50

Shift: 2:50 PM - 11 PM

What's the Job?

• Package finished merchandise by selecting the correct boxes and skids, building boxes/crates using a stapler and/or nail gun, and packing items according to the Quality Control Plan counts.
• Complete labeling and shipping prep by taping/banding boxes/crates, affixing labels to boxes/crates/reels, and palletizing shipments to match Quality Control Plan specifications.
• Shrink wrap, band, and prepare pallets for shipment while following the required procedures and documentation expectations.
• Support quality requirements by reading, understanding, and accurately completing the Production Report per the Quality Control Plan.
• Operate and maintain the extruder process by ensuring the hopper is full of raw material, measuring and mixing colorant to maintain required color, and performing extruder tear down/setup and screen/tooling changes.

What's Needed?

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment physical health evaluation.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate machinery, small hand tools, and precision measuring devices (including calipers) and to follow pre-established guidelines and instructions.
• Ability to climb a rolling ladder (up to 10 feet), lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a warehouse environment with moderate-to-loud noise, occasional fumes/airborne particles, and variable lighting/temperatures.
