Our client, Janitorial Distribution is seeking a General Helper to join their team. As a General Helper, you will be part of the Warehouse team supporting daily operations that keep orders moving smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and the ability to follow safety procedures consistently—skills that will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: General Helper
Location: Hamilton, OH
Pay Range: $19 an hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm (30 minute lunch)
Length of Assignment: 2 weeks with the possibility of getting extended
What's the Job?
- Support warehouse operations by picking and pulling orders for next-day delivery
- Prepare items for shipment to ensure orders are accurate and ready on time
- Move products safely within the facility, including lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
- Use warehouse equipment as required, including working knowledge of pallet jack operation
- Follow established safety and handling procedures to maintain a clean, organized work area
What's Needed?
- Composite or steel-toed shoes/boots for safety in the warehouse
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work productively during scheduled shifts
- Comfort working in a warehouse environment with physical tasks
- Ability/working knowledge of using a pallet jack
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
