General Laborer

Our client, a local manufacturer, is seeking a General Laborer to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be part of the production team supporting production operations through the Dicing, Blending, and general pack line rotation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, comfort working in a fast-paced production environment, and the ability to follow instructions and read codes, labels, and gauges accurately.

Job Title: General Laborer

Location: Frankfort, MI

Pay Range: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour based on shift

Shift: 12 hour shifts, days and nights available, work schedule is 2 days on 2 days off with rotating weekends.

What's the Job?

• Work in various areas in production, including Dicing, Blending, and general pack line rotation.
• Perform a variety of tasks to keep production moving throughout the assigned shift.
• Read different codes, labels, and/or gauges to ensure accuracy and continuity.
• Maintain a clean and dry work area, including keeping tool stations and cleaning tool stations organized.
• Operate (or be willing to learn) equipment such as a forklift to support production needs.

What's Needed?

• High-level communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to use Deacom and a Label Printer.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple math.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle tasks involving bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting bins (approximately 50 lbs).
• Willingness to work flexible workdays and hours, including holidays and weekends based on company and process demands.
