Machine Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the corrugated converting industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Shawnee, KS

Pay Range: $20 - $30 Depending on experience

Shift: Monday - Thursday 4pm - 2:30am + occasional OT on Fridays

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate assigned production equipment such as flexo folder-gluer, die cutter, stitcher, and specialty machinery
• Adjust machine settings to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
• Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to minimize downtime and waste
• Perform machine setups based on work orders and verify product specifications
• Lead feeder/offbearer personnel and maintain consistent production standards in a fast-paced environment

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience, with prior machine operation experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read work orders and specifications
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong attention to detail and leadership capabilities
• Ability to work in non-climate controlled environment
