Machine Operator

Our client, manufacturing is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting machining operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a quality-first mindset, and effective communication skills that help you collaborate with your team and contribute to smooth, reliable production.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Orange, VA

Pay Range: $19

Shift: Second Shift (3P-11P, Mon-Fri)

What's the Job?

• Operate conventional and CNC production machines such as winders, milling machines, drill presses, broaches, lathes, saws, grinders, and welders to complete machining operations to required quality standards.
• Sand, deburr, and perform additional finishing tasks as necessary to properly complete the machining operation.
• Apply knowledge of material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements, and machining techniques to produce accurate results.
• Make sound decisions during production to maintain safe, efficient, and consistent output.
• Support a team environment by communicating effectively and encouraging open discussion and feedback.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar machining role.
• Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines and controls.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
