Machine Welder Operator

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a Welder Operator to join their team. As a Welder Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder Operator

Location: Centralia, IL

Pay Range:  $21/hour

Shift: Train on 1st then move to 3rd shift

What's the Job?

• Set up, adjust, and operate manually and computer-guided Automated Welding Machines efficiently.
• Position production materials and tooling, ensuring proper dimensions according to specifications.
• Operate various equipment, including controllers, and program machines based on production documentation.
• Meet established performance standards to ensure production schedules are achieved.
• Inspect work to ensure proper dimensional requirements and product quality standards are met.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Knowledge of all operations related to the assigned production process.
• Ability to operate forklift and obtain certification if not already licensed.
• Ability to lift, slide, and handle heavy gauges of material safely.
• Proficiency in reading and using measuring equipment such as tape measures and calipers.
