Machinist

Eaton Aerospace, a leader in the design and manufacturing of aerospace hydraulic components and systems, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist A, you will support manufacturing operations by producing and inspecting precision aerospace parts. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.

Job Title: Machinist

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Pay Range: $34.51/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM
 

What’s the Job?

• Set up and operate machining equipment independently to manufacture precision aerospace components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and GD&T specifications.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and air gauges to ensure quality standards are met.
• Adjust tooling, feeds, speeds, and offsets while maintaining close-tolerance requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of machining, honing, or lapping experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading blueprints and GD&T, with proficiency using precision measuring tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Asylee, or Refugee).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work overtime as needed.
