Packaging Line Operator
Full-Time Opportunity
$16hr for day shift

$17hr for night shift
12-Hour Shifts Available

Days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, rotating 2-2-3 schedule 
Nights: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, rotating 2-2-3 schedule 

Are you looking for a hands-on manufacturing role where safety, quality, and teamwork are valued? We are seeking Temporary Packaging Line Operators to support production and packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating packaging equipment, performing quality checks, maintaining production records, and ensuring products are packaged according to company standards.
What You'll Do
As a Packaging Line Operator, you will play a critical role in keeping production lines running safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
  • Load packaging materials, labels, cartons, and components onto production lines
  • Start, stop, and monitor equipment according to established procedures
  • Set and verify equipment centerlines to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
  • Perform routine quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
  • Identify and remove defective products from the production line
  • Report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors and support teams
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
  • Assist with line setup, product changeovers, and cleaning activities
  • Support line clearance activities and ensure production readiness
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work environment
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals and schedules
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and follow SOPs, safety procedures, and work instructions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production needs
Preferred Experience
  • Manufacturing, packaging, or production experience
  • Experience operating liquid filling, capping, labeling, or packaging equipment
  • Knowledge of GMPs and quality systems
  • Experience performing equipment changeovers and basic preventative maintenance
  • Familiarity with production documentation, batch records, and quality inspections
  • Ability to identify and resolve minor mechanical issues
  • Forklift, pallet jack, or other material handling equipment experience
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as business needs require
