Material Handler

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting production and logistics functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Clackamas, OR

Pay Range:

Shift: Day Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

What's the Job?

• Accurately enter all required receiving information into the ERP system to ensure data integrity.
• Physically move materials and update their locations within the ERP system to maintain location accuracy.
• Stage materials for upcoming production jobs, ensuring timely availability for the batching department.
• Review production schedules and coordinate with supervisors to determine material requirements.
• Verify delivered materials against specifications and arrange in-plant transfers to meet production schedules.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment, focusing on receiving.
• Experience operating an ERP system for at least 1 year.
• Valid forklift license; recertification available through the company if needed.
• Strong math skills including addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
