Our client, a food manufacturing environment, is seeking a Plant General Production to join their team. As a Plant General Production, you will be part of the production floor supporting daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety and food safety, and the willingness to learn and rotate through different production tasks, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Plant General Production

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range: $16.8

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:25pm - 1:00am / end of production)

What's the Job?

  • Inspect product on a continuous basis to ensure all quality standards are met.
  • Remove damaged or defective product, baskets, or materials and properly store or dispose of them.
  • Perform visual inspections of packaging to confirm accuracy, seal integrity, and code/date compliance.
  • Stack cartons or trays onto pallets/skids using correct patterns; safely operate pallet jacks for movement of finished goods.
  • Support line efficiency by assisting operators, utilities, and other production staff as needed.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED preferred and/or one year of manufacturing production experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and food safety.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and rotate through different tasks.
  • Ability to follow job safety analyses (JSAs), plant policies, and food safety protocols at all times.
