Our client, a leader in manufacturing and processing industries, is seeking a Processing Technician to join their team. As a Processing Technician, you will be part of the operations supporting wet processes and chemical handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, and technical skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Processing Technician
Location: Fullerton, CA
Pay Range: $30hr- $32hr
Shift: 3:30PM to 2:00AM (Monday-Friday, with optional Saturday hours)
What's the Job?
- Lead and support wet process operations involving chemicals such as passivation, alkaline cleaning, and other surface treatments
- Inspect components to ensure they meet customer and production specifications
- Assist with processing activities including component weight counting, glass beading, and parts movement
- Train team members on part washing lines and blasting machines
- Maintain records, prepare daily production reports, and ensure compliance with EH&S and quality policies
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in wet operations, chemicals, paint, dry film, sandblasting, passivation, and related processes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of general plating, quality standards, and technical specifications
