Our client, MPUSA is seeking a Production Assistant to join their team. As a Production Assistant, you will be part of the Production department supporting manufacturing, engineering, quality, and shipping teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and a focus on quality that helps keep production running smoothly.

Job Title: Production Assistant

Location: Meridian, ID

Pay Range: $18 - $20 an hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Assist with production, assembly, and manufacturing tasks using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Support quality control by performing checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Help with packaging and labeling of products for shipment to customers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area by sweeping, organizing tools, and disposing of waste materials.
  • Contribute to inventory management by counting, sorting, and organizing parts and materials.

What's Needed?

  • Able to read assembly blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
  • Technical degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Able to use precision equipment such as calipers and measuring instruments.
  • Competent with power hand tools and able to clean and maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lbs, and work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
