Our client, in Clare, MI is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the Production Operations team supporting assembly, paint line, or material handling workflows depending on skillset and experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Associate

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $16.50

Shift:
1st - 8 am to 4 pm 
2nd - 4 pm to 12 am
3rd - 10 pm to 6 am
*overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time and can be heavy, including Saturdays

What's the Job?

  • Assembly position:
    • Assemble products according to work orders and blueprints at individual workstations
    • Fasten parts using bolts, screws, rivets, clips, and other hardware while operating hand and power tools
    • Verify fit, function, appearance, and quality standards of finished products
  • Material Handling position:
    • Support material handling by receiving, storing, and distributing materials to production departments as needed
    • At least 1 year of Forklift experience required (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
  • Paintline position:
    • Prepare and apply powder coat paint by removing rust/imperfections
    • hanging product correctly
    • maintaining a clean, safe work area

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred (required for material handling duties) and a valid driver’s license for material handling positions
