Production Associate

Our client, Sysco Corporation is seeking a Production Associate I to join their team. As a Production Associate I, you will be part of the production supporting a fast paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a positive attitude and willingness to learn, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Associate I

Location: Orlando, FL

Pay Range: $15/hr

Shift: 1st / Day shift -  Hours: 10:00 AM - Close
Days: Sunday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Wash, prep, peel, and cut fresh fruit according to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of production and staging areas throughout the shift.
• Ensure raw product storage areas remain clean, orderly, and compliant with food safety expectations.
• Remove empty boxes, trash, and other debris promptly to support a safe, efficient workflow.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures; report incidents, accidents, or safety concerns immediately to management.

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift 60 pounds occasionally and lift 50 pounds repeatedly through the day.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and readiness to complete assigned duties efficiently and safely.
• Good hand dexterity and attention to detail to support consistent food preparation quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and cooperate to meet daily production goals.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards in a cold-temperature, fast-paced production setting.

• Training provided for use of fruit peelers and small paring knives.
