Production Lead

Our client, a leading North American manufacturer of home and personal care products, is seeking Production Leads to join their team. As a Production Lead, you will be part of the production organization supporting day-to-day operations on the production floor. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and team coordination, a solid working knowledge of cGMP and SOPs, and the ability to communicate clearly and troubleshoot workflow issues—all of which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Commack, NY

Pay Range: $20.00/hr 

Shifts Available; 

• Fri - Sun, 6am - 6pm
• Fri - Sun, 6pm - 6am

What's the Job?

• Support the Shift Supervisor in carrying out daily production and operational activities to keep work moving safely and efficiently.
• Guide and assist team members by resolving workflow issues and ensuring assigned priorities are completed to meet production and shipping goals.
• Coordinate daily tasks and ensure activities are completed according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Communicate production status, issues, and updates to the Shift Supervisor and other departments to maintain alignment across the operation.
• Verify materials, equipment, and documentation are prepared for production runs, and support employee training on proper work practices, safety procedures, and quality expectations.

What's Needed?

• 2- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or production environment, with prior lead or team coordination experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Solid understanding of production processes, safety protocols, and quality inspection methods.
• Demonstrated ability to guide and support team members while maintaining focus on efficiency, safety, and product quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to troubleshoot workflow issues and make sound decisions within established guidelines.
