Our client, Production & Manufacturing is seeking a Production Tech to join their team. As a Production Tech, you will be part of the Production floor supporting daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality, a steady focus on safety, and the drive to learn and improve processes—skills that will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Tech
Location: Clinton, TN
Pay Range: $18
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5AM-3:30PM
What's the Job?
- Assemble components and finished products by hand or using basic hand tools, following work instructions carefully.
- Operate manufacturing equipment by feeding raw materials into machines, monitoring performance, and performing basic troubleshooting or setup changes.
- Complete quality control checks through visual inspections to confirm items meet specifications, measurements, and blueprint requirements.
- Package finished products by placing them into boxes, labeling containers accurately, and loading them onto pallets or conveyors for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all workplace safety policies and PPE requirements.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (standard; some roles may not strictly require it).
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or retail stockroom environments is preferred.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods (typically 8 to 12 hours) and lift 35 to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and basic math skills for counting inventory and completing production tasks.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions and quality standards.
