Quilting Machine Panel Operator

Our client, manufacturing is seeking a Quilting Machine Panel Operator to join their team. As a Quilting Machine Panel Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to follow schedules and instructions which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quilting Machine Panel Operator

Location: Mebane, NC

Pay Range: $17

Shift: 7am - 4:30pm (flexible on time off)

What's the Job?

• Read and interpret the daily schedule to identify the raw materials required for production.
• Organize materials by loading and/or bringing raw materials to the work area and preparing machinery for operation.
• Operate the panel quilter effectively, safely, and efficiently to produce materials according to published schedules.
• Remove assembled materials from the machine appropriately without damage and place them in the designated area.
• Move waste as needed and place it in the baler while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of related work in manufacturing.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
• Ability to apply basic computer, reading, and math skills to support production tasks.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask according to the daily schedule, and to follow safety rules, operating procedures, and work instructions.
