Our client is seeking a Reprocessing Operator - Nights to join their team in Louisville, KY. As a Reprocessing Operator - Nights, you will be part of the production team, supporting safe, efficient equipment operation to produce quality product. Shift: 7PM-7AM
What's the Job?
- Operate repro equipment safely to produce quality product through continual adjustments of gauges that control extruder speed, temperatures, pressures, and winder speeds.
- Know and follow all safety rules and procedures while maintaining a safe, efficient work area.
- Produce orders to schedule in order to satisfy customer needs and production requirements.
- Perform production execution of product labeling and production entry.
- Complete required quality inspections, testing, and documentation, while maintaining housekeeping and 6S standards on machines and surrounding areas.
What's Needed?
- 1+ year of manufacturing expierence required
- Commitment to safety and the ability to consistently follow established procedures.
- Ability to perform routine preventative maintenance and support production needs as required.
- Strong attention to detail for quality inspections, testing, and accurate documentation.
- Willingness to assist other team members during breaks and absences and perform other duties as assigned.
- Physical readiness for frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting/pushing/pulling weights over 30 lbs, plus eye/hand coordination and routine work in a hot room (up to 110 degrees F at times).
