Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Systems Assembly Technician- Swing Shift to join their team. As a Systems Assembly Technician- Swing Shift, you will be part of the Production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to read and follow engineering drawings, and the drive to troubleshoot and improve performance from start-up through final assembly.

Location: Meridian, ID
Pay Range: $20 - $24 an hour
Shift: Day shift and Swing shift
What's the Job?
- Accurately interpret engineering drawings and perform plumbing, wiring, and assembly to meet functionality and specification requirements.
- Use a Personal Computer and shop floor control software to track job labor and material usage with precision.
- Troubleshoot components at start-up and help maintain a low failure rate through careful, methodical work.
- Use measuring instruments and diagnostic devices while following quality procedures to support the company’s quality program.
- Perform final assembly and system integration, including interface plumbing and wiring, while maintaining a clean and safe shop environment.
What's Needed?
- Able to read assembly blueprints as well as plumbing and electrical schematics.
- Industrial or commerical plumbing experience
- Ability to perform sub-assembly of units and components (including pumps, flowmeters, manifolds) and point-to-point/interface plumbing for systems integration.
- Ability to perform sub-assembly of boards and components (including motors, pumps, drives, controllers) and point-to-point/interface wiring for systems integration.
- Ability to use process pipe welding equipment (including butt-fusion IR welder, socket welder, orbital welder) and hand/power tools; technical degree preferred or equivalent experience.
