TIG Welder – Work on Complex Custom Projects

Pay Rate: $26-$36/hour
Schedule: 7:00AM-3:30PM, Monday-Friday
Assignment Length: Temp-to-Hire

We're hiring 2 experienced TIG Welders for an immediate opening in Biddeford! Our client is a well-established, safety-focused manufacturing company known for its excellent culture, long-term stability, and commitment to quality craftsmanship. These positions pay $26-$36/hour and are temp-to-hire opportunities.

Typical Daily Duties:

  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum materials
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and bills of materials to complete projects accurately
  • Inspect finished products, verify measurements, and maintain quality standards throughout production
  • Perform routine equipment safety checks and preventive maintenance
  • Operate related fabrication equipment, including stud welders and rolling equipment as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What We're Looking For:

  • 2-5 years of sheet metal TIG welding experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and mechanical drawings
  • Strong math skills, including converting fractions and decimals
  • Ability to read a tape measure and use precision measuring tools
  • Understanding of material types, gauges, and welding-related metal characteristics
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
