Our client, a leading electrical component manufacturer is seeking a Weekend Production Associate to join their team. As a Weekend Production Associate, you will be part of the production operations team supporting manufacturing equipment installations, ramp-ups, and day-to-day production support. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical mindset, a commitment to accurate documentation, and the drive to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues quickly—so you can help keep production moving with confidence.

Job Title: Weekend Production Associate

Location: Fort Payne, AL

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour

Shift: Friday - Sunday 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM

What's the Job?

  • Complete manufacturing equipment related installations and ramp-ups to support production readiness.
  • Gather, record, and analyze production information to help improve daily operations.
  • Perform repair and retest for product and/or manufacturing facilities to maintain quality and uptime.
  • Oversee use of machine control systems and support their use in manufacturing equipment.
  • Resolve manufacturing-related problems affecting daily operations, and complete estimates of requirements arising from process changes.

What's Needed?

  • 2 year vocational training plus up to 1 year related experience in specialized processes, techniques, and systems used in a production environment.
  • Basic knowledge of principles, procedures, work routines, and skills in the related field gained through structured and focused vocational training.
  • Ability to operate specialized machines and tools effectively, including setting parameters when required for production programs.
  • Comfort working with automated line processing and controlling, or operating with a broader range of production machines in production lines.
  • Willingness to follow standardized work routines and use available guidelines, procedures, and work-specific instructions.
