Welder

Our client, a leading manufacturing industry, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the fabrication and repair of metal structures. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder GMAW / MIG

Location: Brookshire, TX

Pay Range:

Shift: 12-hour shift from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to accurately create equipment and products
• Design and build basic and complex structures, supports, or frameworks in daily tasks
• Weld using GMAW / MIG and RSW processes to meet project specifications
• Utilize handheld tools such as screw guns, drill guns, grinders, calipers, and weld gauges
• Maintain inventory of manufacturing products and welding consumables, ensuring safety and quality standards are met

What's Needed?

• 1-3 years of Resistance Spot Welding (RSW) and MIG welding experience
• Experience operating in a manufacturing or similar environment
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly, identifying issues proactively
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Technical or vocational training or certification preferred

¿Cuál será tu trabajo?

• Leer, interpretar y seguir planos, diagramas y dibujos de ingeniería para crear equipos y productos con precisión
• Diseñar y construir estructuras básicas y complejas, soportes o marcos en tareas diarias
• Soldar usando procesos GMAW / MIG y RSW para cumplir con las especificaciones del proyecto
• Utilizar herramientas manuales como destornilladores, taladros y lijadoras
• Mantener inventario de productos y consumibles de soldadura, asegurando estándares de seguridad y calidad

¿Qué necesitas?

• 1-3 años de experiencia en soldadura por resistencia (RSW) y MIG
• Experiencia operando en un entorno de fabricación o similar
• Capacidad para realizar trabajos con precisión y detectar problemas de manera proactiva
• Habilidades de comunicación en inglés, tanto escritas como verbales
• Formación técnica o vocacional o certificación preferida
