Wiring Assembler

Our client, a leading organization in electrical manufacturing, is seeking a Wiring Assembler to join their team. As a Wiring Assembler, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Electrical Assembly Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Wiring Assembler

Location: Charleston, SC

Pay Range: $23-24/hr

Shift: 1st shift 6am-2:30pm & 2nd shift 2:30pm-11pm

What's the Job?

• Assemble, wire, and test electrical switchboards, control panels, and related equipment based on engineering drawings and wiring schematics.
• Read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately to ensure proper circuit tracing and component placement.
• Route, cut, strip, label, terminate, and secure electrical wiring and cabling following safety and quality standards.
• Install electrical components such as breakers, contactors, relays, transformers, terminal blocks, and bus systems.
• Perform electrical testing, continuity checks, and verify correct wiring and component connections to meet industry standards.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical components and sub-assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring methods, assembly techniques, and electrical components.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and continuity testers.
• Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
