Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Assembler Tester 1 to join their team. As a Assembler Tester 1, you will be part of the Production team supporting daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong safety mindset, and the drive to meet production goals which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler Tester 1

Location: Cranston, RI

Pay Range: $21.48

Shift: 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm) or 2nd Shift (4pm-12:30am)

What's the Job?

  • Perform basic assembly of parts and products according to Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) and Bills of Material (BOM).
  • Review daily work orders in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to determine what to process.
  • Operate basic equipment and use common hand and pneumatic tools as instructed, completing standard tests after each assembly step.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of materials for production orders and update the ERP for work performed.
  • Keep your workspace clean and organized, follow safety policies and PPE requirements, and report issues to the Team Lead or Supervisor.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3 months of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Competence operating a computer and completing basic data entry in systems (ERP).
  • Ability to learn assigned responsibilities and follow production procedures; able to attain Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) training sign-off within 90 days.
  • Physical dexterity for hand and power tools, and ability to push, pull, lift, and/or move materials up to 30 lbs; use hoists for materials over 30 lbs; attention to detail and clear communication in a team setting.

What's the Job?

  • Realizar el ensamble básico de piezas y productos de acuerdo con las Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) y las Bills of Material (BOM).
  • Revisar diariamente en el sistema Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) las órdenes de trabajo para determinar qué se debe procesar.
  • Operar equipo básico y utilizar herramientas manuales y neumáticas comunes según las indicaciones, realizando pruebas estándar después de cada operación de ensamble.
  • Mantener inventario de materiales necesarios para las órdenes de producción y actualizar el ERP con el trabajo realizado.
  • Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y organizada, seguir las políticas de seguridad y el uso de EPP, y reportar cualquier problema al Team Lead o Supervisor.

What's Needed?

  • Se prefiere contar con Diploma de High School o equivalente.
  • Se prefiere 3 meses de experiencia en ensamble mecánico en un entorno de manufactura.
  • Capacidad para operar una computadora y realizar captura de datos básica en sistemas (ERP).
  • Habilidad para aprender las responsabilidades asignadas y seguir los procedimientos de producción; poder completar la capacitación y firma de MPS dentro de 90 días.
  • Destreza física para manipular herramientas manuales y eléctricas, y capacidad para empujar, jalar, levantar y/o mover materiales de hasta 30 lbs; usar polipastos para materiales de más de 30 lbs; atención al detalle y comunicación clara para trabajar en equipo.
