Our client, Industrial is seeking a Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Assembly Technician, you will be part of the Stationary supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude, a commitment to quality and safety, and the ability to work effectively as a team player, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: North Kingstown, RI
Pay Range: 21/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift (will start on 1st for training)
What's the Job?
- Assemble high-tolerance electronic and mechanical products to written specifications
- Crate and package finished products for shipment
- Use blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels
- Select and use a wide variety of precision measuring and checking equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement projects that positively affect safety, quality, and productivity
What's Needed?
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred
- Demonstrated mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Preferred exposure to a manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
