Batting Room Helper

Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Batting Room Helper to join their team. As a Batting Room Helper, you will be part of the Production team supporting day-to-day operations in the batting room. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to support operators and maintenance with assigned tasks.

Job Title: Batting Room Helper

Location: CHIPLEY, FL

Pay Range:  $15

Shift:  Mon-Thurs 6a-4p, with some Fridays

What's the Job?

• Continuously fill scrapper and hopper to maintain production flow.
• Assist the operator and maintenance team with assigned tasks.
• Sweep the batting room floor regularly to keep the work area clean and safe.
• Clean hoppers and work areas using brooms, air hoses, wire brushes, wooden sticks, and cleaning agents.
• Follow all plant and job safety procedures and perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What's Needed?

• Ability to walk and stand throughout the shift.
• Comfortable with physical tasks including bending, reaching, stooping, lifting, pulling, pushing, crouching, climbing, and balancing.
• Ability to communicate and follow instructions, including talking, hearing, reading, and writing.
• Readiness for a heavy physical workload and consistent attention to safe work practices.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols, including using eye protection when operating the air hose and following batting room procedures.
