Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to support daily operations in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining material flow through shaker systems, performing housekeeping duties, assisting with production activities, and supporting equipment and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, able to work in various weather conditions, and comfortable performing physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure organic materials flow properly through shaker systems by breaking up and preventing material bridging.
• Notify heavy equipment operators when shakers require replenishment.
• Maintain finishing screens by scraping and clearing material buildup to ensure proper product flow.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including:
  • Scraping
  • Sweeping
  • Shoveling
  • Cleaning conveyor areas, aisles, and catwalks
• Stack bags and assist with bagging line operations as needed.
• Restack pallets and support general cleanup activities.
• Monitor equipment conditions and report maintenance concerns to maintenance personnel.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to promote a safe work environment.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and performance standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Foreman.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
• Ability to work in dusty environments and in outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.

Preferred

• Experience with electrical troubleshooting.
• Mechanical repair experience.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems repair experience.
