Elevator Kitting Operator

Our client, in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Elevator Kitting Operator to join their team. As a Elevator Kitting Operator, you will be part of the operations department supporting the warehouse and logistics teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Pulls and assembles hardware, trough and wire products according to the customer's order
• Packages material into boxes and onto skids
• Scans material with scan guns to verify accuracy and completeness
• Affixes appropriate labels and packaging lists
• Prepares appropriate shipping documents
• Operates a stretch wrap machine to secure boxes and reels to a skid
• Operates a forklift to load customer orders onto outgoing trucks (not mandatory at entry level)
• Assist in regular cycle counting and physical inventory stock takes.
• Ensure all the above comply with company’s quality management system ISO 9001:2015.
• Complies with all safety and quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions, including wearing required personal safety equipment; utilizes and abides by ISO and Safety Procedures.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in warehouse or material handling preferred
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
