Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking an Extrusion Operator to join their team. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to safety, a focus on quality, and the drive to improve efficiency while producing consistent, high-quality product.
Job Title: Extrusion Operator
Location: Louisville, KY
Pay Range: $25
Shift: 2nd Shift: 3PM-11PM
What's the Job?
- Produce orders to schedule to satisfy customer needs and production requirements
- Perform production execution of product labeling and production entry
- Complete all required quality inspections, testing, and documentation
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Comply with company standards regarding housekeeping and follow all safety rules and procedures
What's Needed?
- Ability to continually adjust gauges that control extruder speed, temperatures, pressures, and winder speeds
- Willingness to work in a hot room environment while maintaining safe work practices
- Strong eye/hand coordination and attention to detail for quality inspections and documentation
- Physical ability to frequently stand, walk, and bend, and to push, pull, and lift weights over 40 lbs
- Ability to support team coverage during breaks and absences and perform other duties as assigned
